day 52 #365artdesign

it's raining!!! I dream the same magic as the Rain room!

Visitors walk through an art installation called the Rain Room in The Curve gallery at the Barbican Centre in London.

The Rain Room is a 100 square metre field of falling water which visitors are invited to walk into.

Sensors detect where visitors are standing, and the rain stops around them, giving them an experience of how it might feel to control the rain.

the house changes with the seasons!

As any city dweller knows, you don't have a lot of square footage to work with in urban hotspots. This design addresses this issue a stack of three rectangular rooms that can either be aligned flush against the fa├žade of the home or rotated perpendicular to the outer wall—creating weather-friendly options for both a winter and summer living space.

The project consisted of four major parts: the fixed volume of the structure, the void, fixed volume and the mobile volume, respectively. When the turning boxes are closed, the building captures sunlight throughout the space of the central void, which also connects the two fixed volumes by suspended bridges.
The house adapts to the functional needs of its users. The guest room, home offices and breakfast rooms (turning rooms on the first and third floors) can change the formality of their appearance according to their residents needs!

I always been interested in boat design.. this is amazing!

An indoor pool, an aquarium and an indoor 'drive-in garage' for its own speedboat: On board a 196ft mega yacht

Hydraulic-powered hatch fills with 18,000 litres of water and can also be used as an indoor ocean pool
The luxury vessel was nominated for Best Interior at 2014 Monaco Yacht Show
196-foot vessel also features a gym, hammam room, and aquarium, and can sleep ten guests in four cabins
